How much pretty did Clinique clasp into their new 13-piece holiday palette for eyes, lips and cheeks? Well, judging by the name they gave it, I'd say around "A Flavor'southward Worth."
The cool tones and neutral shades in the new $37 palette have a distinctly festive feel that reminds me of caroling and getting snuggles from Tabs. They're the kinds of colors I can see myself wearing with scarves, boots and mittens wrapped effectually mugs of pipe hot cocoa, yet they seem timeless enough to brand the transition from winter to jump, and maybe even summer.
More twenty years ago (egad!) I followed Clinique through a gateway that led to the World of Makeup! There, I found wonders similar MAC and NARS, and notwithstanding even with such tantalizing temptations teasing my senses, I regularly return to my roots with Clinique.
I've never strayed for long from their easy, classic arroyo to color, fifty-fifty though their makeup, in detail their eyeshadows and blushes, hasn't always been what I'd call cut border.
The reason? Because they brand things easy. Sometimes I merely think it's quicker to go with Clinique'due south sheer-to-medium pigment than with something richer from someone else. That, and when I wear Clinique, I know that I won't have to worry about looking overdone.
To fill a Season's Worth of Pretty, the palette comes with five Butter Smooth Lipsticks, four Color Surge Eye Shadow Soft Shimmers, 1 Colour Surge Eye Shadow Super Shimmer and three Blushing Chroma Pulverization Blushes — most of them cool and neutral colors, but I as well see a smattering of warm shades. On my NC42 tan, several of the blushes and eyeshadows apply with sheer-to-medium intensity, which commonly says to me that they'll popular even brighter on gals with lighter skin.

With 13 pieces in the palette, the price works out to about $2.84 per pan. A pretty proficient value, especially if you like the way y'all look in cool/neutral shades and don't like to wrestle with your makeup.
Might be the perfect gift for a dazzler beginner, or a busy higher student or mom. A Flavor's Worth of Pretty is sure to brighten someone's twenty-four hours. 🙂

I finally got the run a risk to download the pics from my BFF's son's baptism (aka, my first photography gig!) last Saturday.
Information technology was a beautiful ceremony, and the babies — at that place were several of them getting baptized at the same fourth dimension — oh, the babies! They were and so ambrosial.

What a lovely solar day, and I learned so much! I call back I prefer to have more in-the-moment pics than staged ones ("Say cheese!"). It just seems more intimate and genuine.
